Nick Yule

Nick is Head of Legal at AEPO-ARTIS, a Brussels based organisation representing approximately 650,000 European performers and their collective management organisations. Having been active in the field of performers’ rights for more than a decade, he has focussed closely on the EU Copyright in the Digital Single Market Directive introduced in 2019, and more recently on its transposition into the national laws of European countries. Outside of the EU, Nick has also been actively involved with music streaming initiatives and research ongoing both in the UK and at the international level within WIPO.
